| 1. Who are we and why did we develop this site? |
| This site is the property of the Family Tree Bookshop.com. All materials contained in this site are abstracts of Maryland and Delaware records done by Leslie and Neil Keddie. We developed this site for numerous reasons. (All volumes are available in printed form. See Family Tree Bookshop to order) |

a. |
Several libraries and research centers have suggested this. |
| |
b. |
We don't want our work to go "out of print". Before becoming the Family Tree Bookshop, we
were family researchers. One of our frustrations (and one shared by many) is that many
genealogical works are constantly going out of print |
| |
c. |
We are getting old. While we enjoy our work, we are nearing our "golden years". We do not see our children following in our genealogical foot steps. We feel that this concept will assure that our works will always be available |
| 2. Where do the materials on this site come from? |
| All abstracts (unless otherwise noted) are from records obtained from the Maryland Hall of Records and the Delaware Hall of Records |
| 3. Who should and should not subscribe to this site? |
| Several libraries and research centers have suggested that we put our materials on-line. These organizations feel that a yearly subscription is more cost effective given the amount of works that we have available. However we realize that many organizations and individual researchers have become our loyal customers. The Family Tree Bookshop will continue, for the foreseeable future, to abstract and publish genealogy works for Maryland and Delaware. We appreciate our loyal customers
and if you have invested and collected our abstracts, a subscription to this site would not be for you. However, if you have not ordered from us and are following several Maryland or Delaware families or if you are involved in historical or cultural research, this site will be of value. |
| 4. What are the rates? Rates are
$95 per year. Individual subscribers will receive one user and password . Organizations will receive three user and passwords. Organizations may also receive an additional user and password for an additional $20 each per year. (To accommodate libraries having several branches) |
